About the founder

Nabila Elassar is an entrepreneur, educator, and leadership coach with over a decade of cross-sector experience at the intersection of education, business, technology, and sustainable global development. As Academic Director of the AI for Good Institute, she leads curriculum design for AI innovators building scalable, impact-driven, venture-ready startups.

 

Previously, Nabila held leadership roles at Microsoft, where she led cross-functional teams on education transformation initiatives that generated over $100 million in revenue. Her first company, United Ambassadors, collaborated with the United Nations to launch global affairs education and leadership programs that reached over 10,000 students across 12 countries.

She currently serves as co-president of Stanford Entrepreneurs, a community of 2500+ Stanford alumni in entrepreneurship, business, and venture capital, building the future across various industries.

Nabila earned her Master’s degree in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from Stanford University.. She holds executive certifications in AI Ethics and Policy (Stanford School of Engineering), Nonprofit Leadership (Harvard Kennedy School), Entrepreneurship (Stanford GSB), and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the German University in Cairo.

Her work today is focused on the AI startup and investment ecosystem, where she is leading research and consultancy projects supporting technologists and entrepreneurs who are building companies at the intersection of AI, technology, profit, and impact.

Since 2013, Nabila's education programs have impacted over 10,000 students and alumni across more than 140 countries through leadership and innovation programs under the Impact Genius and United Ambassadors brands.

United Ambassadors alumni have gone on to:

  • Attend universities like Stanford, Harvard, and Columbia

  • Join leading international organizations, diplomacy/ policy fellowships.

  • Launch organizations in the nonprofit sector in fields like climate equity and more.

Impact Genius (AI for Good Institute) alumni have gone on to:

  • Launch AI for Good startups in various fields, including health tech, climate tech, tech consulting, ed-tech, and more. 

  • Win pitch competitions, raise seed funding rounds, and get into Silicon Valley startup accelerators.

Nabila has led educational programs and events in 12+ global cities, including New York, Geneva, London, Paris, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Moscow, Kuwait, Cairo, and more.
