We're looking for passionate individuals to join the AI for Good Institute at Stanford, a transformative program designed to empower the next generation of AI innovators for social good. Our team plays a crucial role in creating an educational environment where participants can learn, innovate, and collaborate on AI solutions for global challenges.

Current Vacancies​

Program Manager

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the management and coordination of program activities.

  • Drive marketing and outreach to meet registration targets.

  • Oversee logistical preparations before and during the program including schedule management. 

  • Facilitate the acquisition of sponsorships and the recruitment of distinguished guest speakers.

  • Time commitment: 20-24 hours per week + full-time on-site.

  • Duration: 6-12 month contract, renewable.

 

Who Should Apply:​

  • Experienced professionals with a background in project management, particularly within education, who are adept at CRM, marketing, and sales. Bay Area locals or those near Stanford are preferred.

Design Coordinator: Photographer/ Videographer

Responsibilities:​

  • Lead the photography, videography, video editing, and production before, during, and after the program.

  • Develop visual assets and design material, including videos, brochures, and branded content before, during, and after the program.

  • Time commitment: 12-20 hours per week + full-time on-site.

  • Duration: 6-12 month contract, renewable.

Who should apply?

  • Creative professionals with experience in graphic design, photography, and videography, particularly in an educational or nonprofit setting.

  • Skilled in video editing software and design tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.

  • While remote work is possible, Bay Area locals or those near Stanford are preferred.

  • Time commitment: 20-24 hours per week + full-time on-site. 

  • Duration: 6-12 month contract, renewable.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute creatively to the program's success through:

    • Media, Design & Communications

  • Time commitment: 12-20 hours per week + full-time on-site.

Academic Program Manager (Lead Instructor: AI and Machine Learning)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, validation, and delivery of our technical AI/ML curriculum.

  • Instruction: Engage participants with impactful content that blends AI technology with social good principles.

  • Guide TA's delivering modules on AI and Machine Learning.

  • Facilitate the invitation of distinguished guest speakers to deliver talks on AI technologies covered at the Institute.

  • Time commitment: Flexible 12-16 hours per week + full-time on-site.

  • Duration: 6-12 month contract, renewable.

Who Should Apply:

  • Individuals with an MA or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Experienced professionals in AI and ML, with a proven track record in both industry applications and teaching.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, human-centered approach to AI education.

  • Duration: 6-12 month contract, renewable.

  • Candidates with an MBA, and/ or experience teaching and learning design thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Academic Coordinator (Teaching Assistant: AI and Machine Learning)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the lead instructor before and during the program.

  • Assist in content development and delivery of the AI/ML curriculum as lectures or in other formats.

  • Design and lead practical AI/ ML hands-on 8+ workshops.

  • Time commitment: Flexible 10-16 hours per week + full-time on-site.

  • Duration: 6-12 month contract, renewable.

Who Should Apply:

  • Candidates with a CS degree and practical experience in AI and ML, passionate about teaching and mentorship.

  • Excellent communicator, able to translate complex concepts into understandable terms.

  • Time commitment: 2-6 hours per week, 8-20 hours on-site.
